Soccer player Jenni Hermoso , along with Mapi León, is the big surprise inSonia Bermúdez 's first squad as national team coach. The Tigres forward has the coach's confidence after a year out of Montse Tomé's national team plans.

"Jenni is returning with enthusiasm, with a wealth of experience, which she can bring to us in different capacities on and off the field, and her commitment is immense," the new national team coach explained in a press conference when asked about Hermoso's return.

Hours later, the forward responded to the call-up on social media, sharing several posts from her family and friends celebrating the return and leaving a brief but clear message.

"I can't wait to take you out again. I love you," wrote a relative next to a Jenni Hermoso national team jersey, while she herself shared a cake with her followers with the Spanish crest and colors to celebrate her return.

The footballer also reacted by reposting the video in which Sonia Bermúdez announced her squad for the Nations League semi-final against Sweden, with a clear message: "It's something more... Happy."
